Sidewalk Vending OrdinanceLocational requirements:•Stationary vendors allowed in commercial zones; roaming vendors allowed in residential and commercial zones•Must maintain 48” of pedestrian passage (changed from 72”)•Cannot be within 10’ of fire hydrants, bus stops, handicapped parking spaces, police/fire driveways•Cannot be within corner visibility zones, parking spaces, driveways, or block building entrances or windows•Must be 500’ from farmers markets, special eventsDEVELOPMENTSERVICES
Sidewalk Vending OrdinanceCart/furniture/utility requirements:•Stationary vendors may have a cart/rack/stand/display•Allowed to have 1 umbrella or shade structure (64 SF)•1 preparation table or food cart allowed; no dining tables or chairs•Signage must be attached; no freestanding signage•May not store merchandise on the sidewalk•No electrical cords, gas lines, or water lines permittedDEVELOPMENTSERVICES
