Robson Chambers Residence
•Designed by architect Robson Chambers in 1946 and expanded in
1950 and 1956.
•Served as the Chambers family residence until 1961.
•Chambers, working with other prominent architects including
Albert Frey, contributed to the “Desert Modern” architectural
style exemplified in this home.
•He was also a contributing architect to Palm Springs City Hall
and campus architect for UC, Santa Barbara from 1966-1982.
