Raising awareness with a focus on:
What you'd like to be working on in the next year?
A.Work with City Manager to integrate and establish as-needed Diversity
Equity and Accessibility Guidelines in operations and policy.
B.Focus on living wages, quality, affordable housing, homelessness,
individual and workforce employability, and how this impacts the working
class in our community. We must protect and safeguard the right and
opportunities of all persons to be free from all forms of discrimination,
including sources of income and housing policies that exclude individuals.
This work would help provide City Council analysis of how these topics
impact the quality of life of our diverse community and the state of human
relations in our city and recommendations to provide a framework for
policy.
