Please relocate slightly to the north the current 45-MPH speed limit sign on N. Indian Canyon
Dr. currently found at the intersection of Tramview Rd., moving it a short distance north to the
signal light intersection of Indian Canyon Dr. and Sunrise Parkway. Also please add for the
southbound Indian Canyon Dr. lanes an additional new sign somewhere in the wash area, a
new alert/warning sign that reads "45-MPH Speed Zone Ahead". These small adjustments can
make a truly meaningful safety impact for all traffic, especially safety for residential traffic
transitioning in and out of Desert Highland Gateway Estates and Miralon. This will overtime
also train drivers to start driving more slowly as they approach and enter the residential areas.
That long stretch of the wash on N. Indian Canyon Dr. is a well-known exceptionally high-
speed area where it is all too common (daily) to witness drivers at 70-mph, 80-mph, 90-mph,
and yes even 100-mph+.
