Good afternoon, I live right behind the Serena Park Project and I agree with the following needing to take place: Daily patrols by a property representative shall be required. Surveillance cameras shall be installed in strategic locations to minimize trespassing. Developer shall post "No Trespassing" signs at commonly known fence breaks. A temporary fence may be required along the northeasterly border of the property to prevent off-road vehicle trespassing from the open desert/wash areas, if it is determined by Staff that, after three months of implementing other security measures and recommendations, said vehicles continue to traverse the project site. A monthly meeting with Code Enforcement Staff to review on-site trash and debris removal, shall be required until on-site construction starts. Developer shall apply sealant to disturbed areas of project that reduce dust and blowing sand. Currently the amount of trash up against my fence line is horrible and there is never any concern for cleaning this trash up. In addition, I have property that they will be removing a chain link fence to install a block wall and I think that it is important to ensure that the property owners that are in this situation should be kept up to date on timelines and materials being used. I have a large dog and need to make arrangements when necessary to keep her safe and in the yard when they finally start the project. Mr. Taylor's has taken advantage of the cities neighborhoods surrounding his property and the city at large for too long. His promises are empty. The despicable conditions of his property are intolerable . For the last six years he has made promise after promise and done nothing and the City Council has given him that right to do so. I live at Whitewater Country Club. He has not even put up a decent fence at the original gate main gate to attempt to keep intruders out ( I don't believe that he can afford it); A few years ago I had a burglary at my home. People come and go at will. If Mr. Taylor can't secure his property don't hope for his proposed planned development to be anything but a nightmare for the surrounding neighborhoods and the City of Palm Springs It is time for the city Council to step up to this ConMan. I am urging you to adopt the security measures that are proposed at your next city council meeting on December 9. Why are you letting this ConMan get away with everything and by the way has he paid the money that was required on November 1 ? Mr Taylor is putting the surrounding neighborhoods at terrible risk from Illicit activities, burglaries etc. Members of the city Council do your job; which is protecting the citizens of Palm Springs. Mr. Taylor has taken advantage of everybody and everything since his Inception of his proposed development. I do not believe that he has has the finances for his proposed development and the the Neighborhoods are surely going to suffer if restraints are not put on Mr. Taylor. Thank you. Dear PS City Council: We are writing to you today to strongly encourage the acceptance and adoption of the proposed maintenance and security plan for the Serena Park development, item lR on Thursday's agenda. My family lives at 3090 N Farrell Drive and, with more frontage on the property in question than any other residence, we have been exposed for more than 11 years to near daily occurrences of trespassing, both from people on foot as well as in 4 wheel drive vehicles. We have had to call the police for trespassing issues related to this property literally dozens of times since moving here in 2010. The action items in the proposed maintenance and security plan would hopefully cut down on these constant trespassing issues and finally hold Semis Investments responsible for what goes on on their property. It is not our responsibility as neighbors to police the property, and the onus to do so has been put on us for way too long. It's time for Semis Investments to take responsibility for properly securing and maintaining their property. Please ... for the sake of everyone who shares a property line with this security concern, we anticipate your support. Thank you in advance, Martin, Jane and Chris Line \1-'1-U'U 1 f Ub\1'~ [oWU-~ 111!MN6. l ~ Anthony Mejia From: Sent: To: Subject: renee saunders <cabobob1@hotmail.com> Sunday, December 5, 2021 2:29 PM City Clerk Serena Park NOTICE: This message originated outside of The City of Palm Springs --DO NOT CLICK on links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe. Dear Council Members, We live on Verona Road and our property backs up to what was once a fairway of the original PSCC. Our request is that the city finally follow through with requiring the developer, Somis Investments, to take responsibility and care for the property. We have seen little to nothing done in that regard over the last few years. As a private property owner, we are required to care for our property and expect nothing less from a developer. Hoping that the suggestions being made to the council for security and damage control are required and followed up on. Best Regards, Bob and Renee Saunders 3044 E. It is our understanding that the Serena Park Project is coming before the City Council on Thursday, December 9. We live in the Four Seasons development and our house backs up to the old golf course. We have been in contact with the Planning Department and Code Enforcement regarding blowing dirt and sand coming from the property in connection with the removal of some of the tamarisk trees, and have been advised that our e-mail communications will be forwarded to the City Council for review and that the developer will be required to apply sealant to the disturbed areas of the project to mitigate this issue. We are sending this follow-up communication to request that the City Council accept the proposed maintenance and security plan that requires the developer to apply the sealant noted above, as well as daily patrols by a property representative, installation of surveillance cameras to minimize trespassing, posting of "No Trespassing"signs, and monthly meetings with Code Enforcement Staff to review on-site trash and debris removal. The developers of Serena Park have not been good neighbors in the time they have owned the property, and we feel it is very important for the City to hold the developer accountable for maintenance and security of the property, since they are not doing it on their own. Thank you for consideration of our request, and, again ... please accept the proposed maintenance and security plan in connection with the Serena Park development.
