PS City Council,
Hi All,
Since it seems like building on the old PS Mall site is a ways off, would it be possible to push back the
fencing to allow access to the Cultural Center from Tahquitz and provide more parking? (like it was
previously) This would be extremely helpful during the Film Fests, Vintage Market, and other events.
Thanks for your consideration,
Michele Johnson

Thank you for representing the citizens of Palm Springs. Being one of those citizens I want you to know
that I no longer believe in the mask mandates and the CoVid restrictions currently in place. Those with
natural immunity SHOULD NOT have to be vaccinated or forced to lose their jobs. Those who are
vaccinated SHOULD NOT have to wear a mask, otherwise what is the purpose of the vaccinations. Those
who do not get vaccinated are the ones taking their chances — It's their choice to take the risks, those
who are vaccinated should not have to suffer because of someone else's choice. I do not believe that
you were elected to micro -manage the lives of those you represent. I hope you take to heart my
concerns.
Thank you,
Dr David Oakes

To: Palm Springs City Council Members
I live at Center Court Club, 355 North Avenida Caballeros, Palm Springs, CA.
Center Court Club is directly adjacent to the proposed Dream Hotel project. Our south
and west walls abut the Dream property.
As you are certainly aware, the Dream project has been stalled for a number of
years. Center Court Club has had to live with the mini -mountain near our west
wall. There is also the huge 2 level hole where the proposed parking garage is projected
to be constructed. In its current condition, the property is most unsightly. The residents
of the two story units in our complex have a direct view into the hole and construction
area. All of our residents are living with this prolonged, stagnant construction site
literally in our backyard. Our property values have been impacted, even during the
recent real estate boom.
In the spring of this year, it was announced that the city would be taking the property
into receivership if progress continued to be stalled. It has obviously been long past the
deadline for the projects to comply. There has been absolutely no activity at the
construction site, except for 2 days when a few workers appeared to be walking around
and picking up debris by hand.
I would like to know both as a homeowner directly impacted by the proposed Dream
project and the HOA president, what is the status of the project and plans for
receivership.
Thank you.
