Regarding the proposal to move TDPS from Palm Canyon Drive to Indian Canton Drive, I have the following:
TDPS surveyed the downtown merchants and restaurants and received a very favorable result of the Tour being
held on N Palm Canyon
RIDERS (over 6,000 in 2019!) anticipate a downtown location.
Moving the event will cause loss of revenue from riders and vendors who no longer wish to particiapte. Please
note: there are no available electric outlets on Indian Canyon or other central locations for vendors or booths,
similar to the Rotary Apparel Sales location.
Riders and Vendors are TDPS main source of revenue ... if those decrease, TDPS donations to well over 75 local
charities will suffer.
